Carol Sanders.  For as long as she can remember, movement has been an integral part of Carol’s life. Modern dance, skiing, hiking/walking, biking, and kayaking are all activities where she feels truly at home. About 14 years ago, at almost age 60, Carol began practicing yoga and it quickly became a passion.  In 2010, as her career as a lawyer and real estate manager was winding down, she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Pacific Yoga and in 2015 completed a 500 hour teacher training with 8 Limbs Yoga. During the past 12 years she has taught yoga in various Seattle settings including yoga studios (including as a steady sub at Two Dog Yoga),  community centers, an athletic club as well as in private homes. Early on, Carol became one of the lead volunteer yoga instructors in the “Yoga Connects” chair yoga program at Two Dog offering classes to seniors and neighbors in the Lake City area. Previously, Carol volunteered as a sub teacher for Street Yoga, a nonprofit organization which offered yoga classes to “at risk” children and youth.

During her yoga teacher trainings, Carol first learned about Ayurveda philosophy and began to experience some of the benefits of Ayurveda practices. In September 2020 she joined Annie Stocker as students in “Wise Living”, a year long program of in depth Ayurveda learning.
