Gina Salā has the dust of many lands on her musical shoes. She's is a singer, composer, teacher (sanskrit, voice, raga, sound schools) and kirtan leader with a repertoire spanning 23 languages and performance credits including Cirque du Soleil and the UN, as well as festivals, huts and more. She began chanting from the age of 3 living in an ashram and deepened her practices wandering the Himalayas, a buddhist monastery and in ongoing study with her Sanskrit, tantra, and classical singing teachers in India. Gina offers retreats, a year-long Awakening Voice sound school programs, workshops and kirtans, River of Sound tours in India, and private sessions via skype. With gratitude, humor and devotion, her passion is helping us to sing ourselves awake to the One in all.

 

Daniel Paul is one of the most sought-after tabla drummers in America, well-respected in both classical Indian and western kirtan communities. He spent 9 years of rigorous study at the Ali Akbar College of Music working closely with Ali Akbar Khan and several great masters of tabla, (Zakir Hussain, Jnan Prakash Ghosh and Swapan Chaudhury) and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to continue his studies with master percussionists throughout India. Today he continues to perform with well- known classical Indian music masters and with many of todays top kirtan artists including Jai Uttal and Gina Salā.
