A neighborhood yoga studio in North Seattle - Celebrating 30 years of yoga in Lake City

We offer pathways to balance, health and healing through yoga. Seasoned teachers share a breadth of experience that spans the full range of student ability and interest. With roots deeply set in Lake City, Two Dog's classes, concerts and seasonal celebrations provide a warm foundation for a vibrant community.

ACHES AND PAINS ARE PART OF LIFE. The causes of some - usually more temporary - are obvious to us, while the causes of those that linger and become more persistent over time are not so obvious. Life throws us out of balance. Beyond what we hear of yoga being about 'union', it is also about balance, particularly within the body, and offers us practical tools for reestablishing and better maintaining balance, stability, and freedom of movement.

Pranayama Basics with Diane
Thursdays | 11:00am-noon

Pranayama, the fourth limb of yoga, is more than breathing exercises. It's a means for making the breath more steady, channeling your vital energy (prana), and preparing the body for the subtle practices of one pointed concentration and meditation. This class will focus on learning, practicing, and becoming more comfortable with several of the most common pranayama techniques.
