DIVINE EMBODIMENT: YOGA IN YELAPAFEBRUARY 28 - MARCH 7, 2026

Join Annie and Wendy Groesbeck for a late winter retreat to the precious village of Yelapa, Mexico. Just a 45 minute boat ride south of Puerto Vallarta, Yelapa is nestled around a pristine bay, surrounded by sandy beaches and lush tropical mountains – a complete departure from the hectic pace of a typical Mexican tourist town.

This week-long retreat will provide you with the opportunity to connect to the earth, to the sea, to nature’s rhythms, to the sea, to nature's rhythms, to the village community, and to yourself.

Each morning you will have the opportunity to greet the day with a sunrise practice on the yoga terrace overlooking Yelapa bay, followed by breakfast. Our dynamic mid-morning asana practice will be completed with pranayama and meditation, and deepened with restorative afternoon sessions. This week-long uninterrupted rhythm of practice provides us the opportunity to cultivate the art of attention, deep listening, and awakening to the divine feminine within. There will also be ample time to nap in a hammock, lounge on the beach, and to wander the charming, car-free streets of the village. Additional adventures and opportunities to explore the area will also be available.

Accommodations at PURA VIDA ECO RESORT are open air bungalows located within a  tropical garden hillside just above the ocean shore. Double occupancy bungalows have 2 queen size beds with a private bathroom. A limited number of single units are also available.

Fresh, locally inspired meals will be communally served in a variety of settings. Two evenings of the week we will venture into the village to explore and enjoy the hospitality of local restaurants and cafes.

This is a unique opportunity to experience a week of yoga, co-created by two seasoned yoga instructors. Together Annie and Wendy offer a yoga practice which embodies alignment, reflection on the self, and celebration of the heart.

Three months of yoga instruction AND the ability to walk the uneven and steep paths and many stairs of a rustic village required.
